Frequently Asked Questions
What material is the Veyra shower base made of?
The Veyra shower base is made from fiberglass-reinforced acrylic, providing a durable yet lightweight structure for everyday residential use. Its smooth, non-porous surface also helps resist moisture and stains while making routine cleaning easier.
What are the benefits of a neo-angle shower base?
A neo-angle shower base is designed for corner installations, with an angled front that helps create an efficient shower footprint without extending as far into the bathroom as some traditional layouts. It is especially practical for bathrooms where making better use of available floor space is important.
Does the Veyra shower base have a slip-resistant surface?
Yes. The Veyra features a built-in textured, slip-resistant surface that provides additional traction underfoot during everyday showering. The texture is integrated into the base, so you can maintain a clean appearance without adding a separate shower mat.
What type of shower enclosure works with this base?
The Veyra is designed for compatible 36" x 36" neo-angle and corner shower configurations. Before ordering an enclosure, compare its required base dimensions and threshold layout with the shower base specifications to ensure a proper match.
What size shower drain does this base require?
The shower base includes a dedicated drain opening for connection to a compatible shower drain assembly. Because drain sizes and plumbing configurations can vary, check the product's drain specifications and your existing plumbing before selecting a drain assembly.
How do I know if the 36" x 36" shower base will fit my space?
Measure your installation area and compare it with the Veyra's detailed dimensions, neo-angle footprint, and drain location before ordering. If you're pairing it with a shower enclosure, also verify the enclosure's required threshold dimensions and layout for proper compatibility.
Is the Veyra shower base easy to install?
The Veyra is designed for straightforward installation, but proper leveling, drain alignment, sealing, and enclosure placement are important for a reliable finished shower. Professional installation is recommended if you're unfamiliar with shower base or plumbing installation.
How do I clean and maintain the Veyra shower base?
Clean the shower base regularly with a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge and a mild bathroom cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemical cleaners that may scratch, dull, or damage the acrylic surface.
