Frequently Asked Questions
What are the benefits of the Luxe thermostatic shower system?
The Luxe Series uses a WRAS-certified thermostatic valve to help maintain your selected water temperature throughout the shower. This reduces sudden hot or cold fluctuations and provides a more comfortable, consistent shower experience.
How does the thermostatic valve help maintain a comfortable water temperature?
The thermostatic valve automatically responds to changes in the hot and cold water supply to help keep the mixed water temperature stable. This means fewer noticeable temperature fluctuations when water pressure changes elsewhere in the home.
Is the Luxe shower system suitable for a bathroom remodel?
Yes. The Luxe Series is well suited for bathroom remodels and new shower installations where the wall can be opened for concealed plumbing. Its in-wall design keeps the valve and plumbing hidden for a cleaner, more streamlined finished look.
Is professional installation recommended for the Luxe shower system?
Yes. Because the system uses concealed plumbing for the thermostatic valve, overhead rain shower, handheld shower, and body jets, professional installation is recommended. Proper planning during installation helps ensure correct plumbing connections, sealing, and component placement.
Can the body jets be adjusted?
Yes. The side body jets can be adjusted to direct the spray toward different areas of the body. This provides more targeted coverage and lets you personalize the shower for rinsing or a more massage-like experience.
What is the rainfall shower head made of?
The rainfall shower head is made from Grade 304 stainless steel, offering durable performance in a moisture-rich shower environment. Its broad design provides generous, even water coverage for a relaxing rainfall-style shower.
What is the Luxe shower system made of, and is the brushed gold finish durable?
The Luxe Series features a durable copper main body with a brushed gold finish, while the rainfall shower head is made from Grade 304 stainless steel. The finish has undergone more than 24 hours of acidic salt spray testing and achieved Level 10 corrosion resistance, supporting long-term use in humid bathroom conditions.
How do I clean and maintain the brushed gold shower system?
For routine care, wipe the brushed gold surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and dry them afterward to help reduce water spots and residue. Avoid abrasive pads, scrubbing powders, and harsh chemical cleaners that may scratch or damage the finish.
